ABOUT THIS PRODUCT:

Designed for great looks and solid performance, the Echelon features SpeedSafe® assisted opening and opens with a thumbstud that seems to float on air—hovering in the middle of an over-sized blade cutout. To add to the airy feeling, we used natural G-10 to create a semi-translucent handle that allows you to see the operation of the SpeedSafe® mechanism inside. The Echelon also features our Inset Liner Lock and new reversible deep-carry pocketclip for discreet pocket carry. Made in the USA.

About our Inset Liner Lock

To build an Inset Liner Lock, Kershaw insets a strip of steel inside a knife’s handle—most commonly when the handle is G-10. Insetting the lock in this way enables us to create a slimmer knife, while still providing the strength and security of a locking liner.
