It’s time to give your split-ring something to be proud of. No more lame trinkets, no more miniature miniatures of miniature stuffed animals. And, certainly, no more copy-of-a-copy keys that you’ll just stare at blankly and mumble, “now… what lock did this go to again? My gym locker… or my garage door?”

No, it’s time to ReVOlutionize that versatile little helper. And we’ve got just the thing to do it – the world’s first mass-produced, “smart” multi-level and current-regulated, single-AAA flashlight: The 4Sevens Preon ReVO!

The ReVO is a stylish and ultra-compact package. It features an XP-E LED for a tighter hotspot, a precision CNC milled tail that’s ideal for keychain carry, and a current-regulated low mode for unprecedented runtimes – 67 hours (4000 minutes!) of fully regulated, flat output at 1.5 lumens. If you use the ReVO 30 minutes a day, one tiny AAA battery will last you 4.5 months! Now that’s revolutionary.

The ReVO has a “smart” high mode that starts at an expectedly bright 82 lumens and then steps down 20% (a barely noticeable decrease) to provide extended runtime. It also has a medium mode (19.8 lumens) and the three special modes of Strobe, S.O.S., and Beacon.

Switching between modes on the ReVO is easy. For those of you familiar with our Preon series, it’s performed the same way – simple twists of the head cycles through the modes. To reach the special modes, which we’ve tucked away so they don’t “get in the way,” you simply cycle through the constant outputs twice.

Of course, the ReVO is built from the same aircraft-grade aluminum that we use in all of our flashlights, and it also has a type 3 hard-anodized coating. The ReVO meets the IPX-8 waterproof standard of 10 meters for 30 minutes.

Operation

Operating your Preon ReVO is simple. Make sure its batteries are inserted with the positive side (+) toward the head. To turn the Preon on, tighten the bezel (the ‘head’ of the light) fully down. The ReVO will turn on when the bezel is fully tightened, and turn off when the bezel is loosened.

Selecting Regular Outputs

To select a different level of constant output, turn the ReVO off and then on again within 1 second. This will select the next level of constant output in the following sequence:

Low -> Medium -> High

If the ReVO is turned off for 2 seconds or longer, it will revert back to Low.

Selecting Special Outputs

The ReVO has 3 special output modes: Strobe, S.O.S., and Beacon. To access these modes, ensure the ReVO has been off for at least 2 seconds, then quickly switch through two full 'cycles' of the regular outputs, starting with Low. The two full cycles must be completed within 2 seconds:

Low -> Medium -> High -> Low -> Medium -> High -> Special Outputs

You can continue to cycle through the special outputs in the following sequence:

Strobe -> S.O.S. -> Beacon

After Beacon mode, the output reverts back to Regular Low. The Beacon mode will first flash 5 times and then once every 10 seconds.
